The Utah ISKCON temple is located in a remote
area where the devotees have been able to create a center of
attention for many visitors. After visiting the Utah temple, Dayavir
Prabhu, the temple manager, got inspired by their facility for
spreading Krishna consciousness. He decided to improve the
guesthouse at New Goloka with a plan to develop the existing
facility, making it more suitable for our growing congregation. The
white house next to the temple has been transformed into an ashram,
making room for the resident devotees. With that change, after
consultation with the temple management crew, we decided that it is
a necessity to change the look of the former guest house building.
We want to create a nicer setting to cater to guests and expand the
gift shop to carry a wider variety of items. The whole guesthouse is
going to be transformed into a more suitable place to entertain
guests. We will be able to use the new facility for yoga sessions,
temple meetings, dance lessons and a room for the children. The
present gift store will become 3 times the size, allowing us to
carry more devotional items for our congregation.
One generous congregation member donated 3,000
dollars to redo the guesthouse restrooms, which really needed an
upgrade. Coming from a construction background, Dayavir Prabhu is
coordinating the whole renovation, which saves the temple the cost
of hiring a building contractor. We still need a lot of aid in
demolishing the walls and with construction as well as additional
financial help for construction.

service, please contact Dayavir Prabhu at
